True Religion

Founded in 2002, True Religion made a name for itself in the Los Angeles denim scene by reinterpreting the classic five-pocket jeans. Industrial standard sewing machines couldn´t handle their designs, so they developed new, unique equipment to produce their version of jeans. With five needle threads and two stitches per operation, their Super T became instantly recognizable as a style.

Soon True Religion´s style caught the attention of trendsetters and celebrities worldwide. Through the development of their stitching, True Religion became synonymous with high-quality craftmanship in the denim sector. Their special fits, washes, and finishes were all designed with additional details to draw attention. While their jeans were inspired by the 140-year history of denim, the horseshoe logo emerged from the silhouette of Buddha´s smile.
